MADISON ROTARY CLUB SPEAKER FROM THE AMBULANCE CORPS

At the June 2nd morning meeting of the Madison Rotary, Vic Schumacher, long-time volunteer with the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps will talk about community involvement and how you too can become a volunteer with the Ambulance Corps.
 
The Rotary Club of Madison meets each Thursday morning at the Madison YMCA at 111 Kings Road, Madison from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.. Meetings are also accessible by Zoom.  Please visit the Rotary website at madisonrotarynj.org for information on accessing the meetings via Zoom, and for any updates to the schedule and other meeting details. Please note that Rotary meetings, speakers, or speaker schedules are potentially subject to change.  All are welcome to attend.
 
Madison Rotary members actively engage to eradicate food insecurity in our community, to empower youth and to partner with other local organizations to enrich the Madison community for all. The Rotary Club of Madison will celebrate its 100th Anniversary in 2023.
 
 
ELIZABETH ROTARY CLUB AWARDS $44,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS

The Elizabeth Rotary Club awarded $44,000 in scholarships to 22 Elizabeth High School students through the Albert & Louise Davis Scholarship Fund of the Rotary Club of Elizabeth NJ, Inc.
 
Founded in 1986, the Davis Scholarship Fund has awarded $743,000 in grants to 460 deserving students.
 
This year’s group will be attending Yale, Harvard, Rutgers, Howard, NYU, St Peters, Kean and Stevens Institute of Technology to name a few.
 
 
ELIZABETH ROTARY CLUB SUPPORTS TOUR DE ELIZABETH

One of the largest events in the City of Elizabeth is the annual Tour de Elizabeth hosted by Groundwork Elizabeth. There were over 800 riders this year which set a new record.
 
The Elizabeth Rotary Club is one of the financial sponsors of this event and Club members participate as riders and volunteers.
 
Our Elizabeth High School Interact Club make up a large number of volunteers, cheering on the riders and keeping them on course.
